Our Target
We design toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. This is a target and ongoing practice, not a claim that every unreleased app build has completed a formal conformance audit.
What This Website Supports
- Semantic headings, landmarks, lists, links, and buttons.
- Keyboard access with logical focus order and visible focus indicators.
- Mobile-first reflow at narrow widths and support for browser zoom.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and accessible names for controls.
- High-contrast text and controls that do not rely on color alone.
- Large interaction targets and support for reduced-motion preferences.
- Selectable Scripture text rather than words embedded in images.
App Accessibility
The app is being built with screen-reader semantics, keyboard behavior for web, responsive layouts, adjustable Psalm text, text-scaling support, and reduced-motion handling. Release-specific testing will be completed as each platform approaches launch.
Tell Us about a Barrier
If something prevents you from using the website or app, email accessibility@boreinu.com. Include the page or feature, what happened, your device and browser or assistive technology if you are comfortable sharing them, and the format you need. Do not include prayer-request content or passwords.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within five business days and will provide a reasonable alternative when possible.
